While pursuing experts to request blurbs for my suspense thriller Wearing the Spider, I contacted Jay Foley, Executive Director of the Identity Theft Resource Center in San Diego. He graciously agreed to provide one so I sent him a copy of the book.
Soon thereafter I got a call from him. “So, how long have you been an identity thief?” he asked. I laughed and replied, “Does that mean you liked my story? Thought it was believable?” He said he did, and we had a very nice conversation. That was one welcome “accusation.”
